Grab your fishing gear and experience a memorable weekend with your children during the Father/Child Fishing Weekend at Island Lake! Catch our annual fishing derby and enjoy an all-inclusive fishing experience with a fully stocked trout pond where most everyone will catch their limit. Our fishing weekend includes three meals, kids fishing derby, lodging, speaker and much more fun for a father and one child!

Friday, May 12, 2017
6:00 pm: Registration in StonePress Coffee House
7:00 pm:  Dinner in Twelve Stones Gill
7:30 pm: Evening Session in The Smooth Stone
8:45 pm: S’mores at Fireside
9:00 pm: Board games available in The Smooth Stone
10:00 pm: Lights Out Please (It’s an early start for theDerby!)

Saturday, May 13, 2017
6:30 – 7:15 am: Younger Derby (Whistle starts) 10 and younger only
7:00 am: Continental Breakfast on the Twelve Stones Grill Porch
7:15 – 8:00 am: Older and Younger Derby (Whistle starts)
8:00 am: Breakfast inside the Twelve Stones Grill
9:00 am: Morning Session in The Smooth Stone
10:30 am – Noon: Open fishing -- Dads too! (Remember, limit 6 fish per person)
Noon: Lunch in Twelve Stones Grill
1:00 pm: Open fishing for all(6 fish per person for the entire day)
Free Time - Boating, hiking, disc golf, bouldering wall, etc.
3:00 pm: Depart

Company Description:  CRISTA Camps dates back to the summer of 1960, when a series of "miracles" made possible the purchase of 70 forested acres on Horseshoe Lake. That property became Miracle Ranch, a western style camp in Port Orchard, Washington. By 1966, Miracle Ranch was serving over 600 campers each summer. Fast forward eight years to 1974, and Miracle Ranch busily served over 1,200 overnight campers, 90 day campers, and 1,045 weekend campers – it had become THE place to be each summer!

Camping at Island Lake began in 1945, but joined the CRISTA Camps family nearly 30 years later in 1974. Island Lake's focus has been and continues to be creating an environment committed to challenging campers to grow spiritually and to build relationships with friends, counselors, and their Creator in a beautiful, outdoor, adventure-filled environment.
