The Nebraska CCW course is designed to meet all the criteria for a citizen to pass the state guidelines and obtain their Concealed Carry Weapon permit. The course is open to all levels of students, with both classroom and firing range time. Applicants for this class should have a basic understanding of handgun safety and marksmanship, the ability to perform basic target shooting and demonstrate loading and reloading of magazines into the weapon. This is a one day class with approximately eight to 10 hours of instruction and range time.

• Federal/State/Local Laws regarding Use of Force, Degrees of Assault & Justifiable Homicide
• Nebraska State Statutes/City Ordinances
• Rules and Regulations of the Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit Program

Required Gear:

• Handgun - the gun you plan to carry is recommended. You may also use a rental
• Two or more magazines for semi-auto
• Quality holster and magazine carriers (All holsters must cover the trigger completely; no draw, small of the back or should rigs allowed)
• Quality belt (to ensure proper carry of holster)
• Recommend pants versus shorts or skirts
• Shoes must be closed toe
• Nebraska Drivers license
• Ear and wrap around eye protection. Rentals are available.
• Appropriate concealment garment (open front preferred, must completely conceal weapon)
• You are welcome to bring your own lunch. There are also several fast food restaurants nearby.
• A pen and notepad for taking notes
• Optional - Spare ammunition pouches, carrier or magazine holster

Ammunition Requirements:

• 100 rounds of ammunition - Factory ammunition only, no reloads or hand loads
• NO AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM
