Based on the novel by John Buchan, this adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 film is fast, funny, filled with intrigue and a touch of romance. The forces of “The 39 Steps” are out for Richard Hannay, the unsuspecting target of a ring of spies. Hannay is forced to go on the run and encounters plane crashes, train chases, and romance, until finally he must save his own life. All 150 characters are played by 4 actors in a lightening-speed comedy that will leave you wanting more. The 39 Steps is a TONY Award- winning comedy, and is a must for anyone who loves the magic of theatre.

The Greenville Little Theatre showcases the talented performers of the Upstate and produces popular plays and musicals, with fifteen years of hit productions such as Fiddler on the Roof, To Kill a Mockingbird, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Hello Dolly, Lend Me a Tenor, Joseph…, Guys and Dolls, A Christmas Carol, and Steel Magnolias.
