The 6th annual Under the Stars Benefit will take place on September 26, 2019, from 6 PM to 10:30 PM at Highland Brewing’s Event Center with special musical guest Sirius.B. Enjoy a night of fun and fundraising, which includes drinks, dinner, live and silent auctions, planetarium visits, science experiments, and dancing. The auctions will feature an array of exciting lots that include exclusive travel destinations, one-of-a-kind experiences, and unique local items. VIP tickets include the VIP Pre-Party from 5:30-6:30 with an open Highlands beer bar, special hors d’oeuvres, and VIP auction preview. Must contact the museum to redeem VIP ticket spot by September 25, 2019. This is an adult-only event.

The Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS) is the center for expert STEM learning in WNC. AMOS strives to spark imagination and foster lifelong curiosity in the museum and through both in-house and outreach STEM education. These include field trips, in-school and after-school programs, intensive science camps, Saturday STEAM education, and involvement in city and county events that serve the community. AMOS also offers adult programming and partners with the many great organizations in the community regarding topics such as sustainability. A major goal is to increase scientific literacy.
